Kimberly Patrice Lowe, age 51, a resident of the Blair community, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Kim was born May 27, 1957, in Oak Ridge. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Her interests included outdoor activities, taking care of her pets, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacquelyn Rea, on Feb. 16, 1995.
Kim is survived by her husband, Rick Lowe; two children, Mandy Rice and husband, Chris Rice, and Tony Nelson and wife, Lisa Nelson; stepdaughter, Ashley Lowe; father, Buford Rea; sister, Linda Rhodey and husband, Archer Rhodey; brother, Mike Rea and sister-in-law, Shirlene Rea; mother-in-law, Shirley Moon and husband, Danny Moon; brother-in-law, Jerry Lowe; sister-in-law, Betty Justice, and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Destanie and Josh Rice, and Anthony and Jacob Nelson; nieces, Jill Rhodey and Becky Washington; nephews, William Rhodey and Mick Rea; uncle and aunt, Gerald and Elizabeth Rea and son, Jerry; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
Kim was dearly loved and will be truly missed by all of her family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Weatherford Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Chadwick officiating.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
