Lou Agnis (Moats) King
Born Sept 2, 1902 in Moulton, Alabama. She died unexpectedly at her home in Mount Moriah on May 12, 1983. She was a member of Wolf Springs Baptist Church.
Her parents were George Thomas and Martha Priscilla [Terry] Moats
Her five siblings were Samuel "Sammy" Moats Sr, Effie Jane (Moats) Clemons, Goldie Belle (Moats) Terry, Augustine "Gus" Moats and George Kyle Moats.
Lou Agnis and William Sanford King were married Aug 30, 1919. During their marriage Agnis had several pregnancies that unfortunately ended in miscarriages or stillborn. Agnis and Sanford did have five children that lived: Elsie Mae (King) Johnson, Ester Berlin (King) Henry, Ruby Elizabeth (King) Clemons, Martha Belle (King) Alred, and Clyde Benjamin King.
