Mrs. Josephine Ellen Pavey Spence, 61, wife of William D. Spence, died at the residence at Princess Anne County Saturday at 9 p.m.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Waddle, of Golden City, mo.; five sons, Edwin Oldfield Pavey, Walter Erwin Pavey, Raymond Wendell Pavey and James LeRoy Pavey, all of Princess Anne County, and the Rev. Ernest Gene Pavey, of Pawhuska, Okla.; two brothers, William Oldfield and Charlie Oldfield, both of Coventry, England, and 13 grandchildren.

Mrs. Spence was a native of Coventry, but had been a resident of Princess Anne County for 38 years. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at a time to be announced.

Mrs. Josephine Ellen Pavey Spence. – Funeral services for Mrs. Spence will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. A. Richardson, pastor of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Riverside Memorial Park.
