Mrs. George Thompson's Funeral Friday
Services At Boehmer Church And Burial Will Be At Warren
Friday forenoon at ten o'clock will be held the funeral at the Boehmer church, of Mrs. George H. Thompson, aged 59 years, who passed away Thursday morning at 6:30 o'clock, at her home west of Liberty Center. Death followed an illness of two years, due to Bright's diseases.
Decedent was one of the highly esteemed ladies of her community. She was a daughter of Henry and Lydia Fix, and was born in Jackson township, December 9, 1862[sic]. Her marriage to George H. Thompson took place March 2, 1881, and they had resided since on the farm where her death occurred, near the Wells-Huntington County line. Of ten children born to them, seven survive, namely: Charles A. and Eugene, at home; J. F. Thompson, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Nellie Krinn, south of Mt. Zion; Roy Thompson, Wilson, Oklahoma; Ora Thompson, near Boehmer church; and Mrs. Nora Miles, Plum Tree. Frank Knott, a half-brother, resides in Bluffton.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
