Roachdale July 12, Mrs. Lucy Ann Burrows, 74, died at the home of her son Roy Burrows, Parkersburg, at 2 O'clock Friday afternoon. She had been ill five days.
Mrs. Burrows was born November 15, 1871 in Pittsboro, and was the daughter of Elijah and Rebecca Merritt Galbreath. She was married to Otto Burrows in 1896. The deceased was a member of the Friends Church at Danville.
Surviving besides the son, are a daughter; Mrs. Nona Sonnefeld of Columbus, Indiana; a brother James Galbreath of Roachdale; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Denny of Indianapolis, and Mary Eggers of Cheyenne, Wyoming, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Chastain Funeral Home at Roachdale with Reverand Ray Britton in charge. Friends my call at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
