Darlene Joyce Dugan (Burgess) was born June 30, 1941 to Elaine and Austin Dugan, in Ventura, California.
Soon after birth, she moved with her parents and brother Doug to Beatrice, Nebraska.
In the spring of 1953, she came to live with the family in Cabool, Missouri.
She confessed her faith in Christ at any early age and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Cabool.
She graduated from Cabool High School in 1959 and attended Draughon's Business College in Springfield, Missouri. After graduation, she worked for Southern Missouri Trust Co. of that city.
On July 29, 1961 she was united in marriage to Dean R. Ingram of Simmons. After the wedding, they flew to Hawaii where he was stationed with the U.S. Navy. After two years duty there, they moved to Stockton, Calif., where she lived until her death.
She passed away July 31, 1964 at Travis AFB Hospital. She had suffered with a chronic illness for several years.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Dean, mother Mrs. Elaine Burgess, brother Lt. Douglas R. Burgess, father Austin Dugan of Petaluma, Calif., stepfather Al Burgess, Wymon, Neb., grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Richards, Cozad Neb., and a host of relatives and friends.
Interment was in Evergreen Home Cemetery at Beatrice, Nebraska on August 5, 1964.
