Israel "Jack" Welch was born May 7, 1912, to Israel "Mann" Welch and Pearlie Hampton Welch in Kemper County, MS.
He joined St. Mark United Methodist Church in DeKalb, MS.
On April 8, 1933, he married Cloatee Donald, the daughter of James "Jim" Donald and Winnie Cullum Donald, and they had five children, three daughters and two sons.
He was a lifelong native of Kemper County, MS, and was a hard working farmer.
He died April 20, 2007, at the age of 94.
He was the Husband of Cloatee Donald Welch; the Father of Annie Sue Welch Jackson, Anner Lee Welch Currie, Lucille Welch, Russell Welch, Randell Welch, and James Grady; the Son of Israel "Mann" Welch and Pearlie Hampton Welch; the Brother of Maude Welch Cole, Calvin Welch Riddle, Addie Ruth Welch Jackson, Henry "Buddy" Welch, Mike Welch, Hack Welch, and Verdie Bell Welch Gillespie; the Paternal Grandson of George W. Hull and Easter Welch; and the Maternal Grandson of Tommy Hampton and Adeline Edwards Hampton.
