Campbell, age 83, of Inverness, Florida, will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Inverness, FL, under the direction of the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. He was born October 28, 1925, in Williamson, W.V., son of the late Robert and Liddy (Falin) Campbell. He died June 1, 2009 in Inverness, FL. Mr. Campbell was an Army veteran serving during Korean War. He worked as a crib attendant for Livonia Spring and Bumper Plant of General Motors and moved to Florida from Belleville, MI in 1992.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Margaret Collins, Mae McCoy, Jean Stewart and Beatrice Thompson; and 4 brothers: Charles Campbell, Ralph Campbell, Bill Campbell, and Claude Campbell. Survivors include sister-in-law, Lois Campbell of Inverness, FL; daughter, Maureen Wilson of Belleville, MI; sister, Dorothy Phillips of Chatsworth, GA; grandson, Corey Wilson; granddaughter, Melissa Vesely; grandson, Jason Vesely Wilson; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
