Services for Charley Dew, 88, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Rev. Mick Snider officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Dew died Dec. 2, 2003, at Sulphur. He was born Dec. 24, 1914, at Fitzhugh to Moreau and Della Howard Dew. He was a train car mover and retired from Ideal Cement Plant after 39 years of service. He was in the U.S. Army and served in World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was affiliated with First
Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He and Pauline Abbott were married Oct. 5, 1946, at Roff. She died Sept. 17, 2003, at Ada. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Wayne Dew; two brothers, Forrest Dew and Orban Dew; and two sisters, Gladys Frick and Ruth
Standridge.

Survivors include a son, David Dew, Ada; a daughter, Paulette Fullingim, Ada; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Paul Sutton, Sidney Wroten, Shawn Fullingim, Quinn Ross, Matt Dew and Robert Turner.

Honorary bearers are Charlie Krause, Harold Crawford, Brittan Crawford, Raymond Voyles, Leon Simmons, Lester Remer and Arvil Blankenship.
