Sikeston - Flora M. Fugate, 86, of Miner, formerly of Sikeston died Friday at the Miner Nursing Center.
She was born April 24, 1909, in Datto, Ark., the daughter of Arthur Alvin and Margaret Foster Malone Cole.
She was a member of the Miner Baptist Church. She married Orbie Lawrence Fugate in Clay County, Ark., Aug. 12, 1933. He died Oct. 9, 1952.
Survivors include three sons, Lawrence A. "Bud", Orbie Paul and Danny Ray Fugate; four daughters, Janetta Groves, Jane Skinner Evans, Margaret Ann Patton and Donna Kaye Franey; a brother, Alvin Cole; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, three grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral service Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
