Anna L. Abter Obituary
Anna L. Abeter, 82, of 20 West Center St. Died Monday at 7 a.m. at the Bingham Memorial Hospital following a stroke. She had been in the hospital for two weeks. She was born Nov. 7, 1884, in Provo, Utah, the daughter of Lars D. and Elisa Johnson Larsen. She was married to Josiah Gough in American Fork, Utah. He later passed away. She then married John Hemmert in Black Foot. Following his death she married Ervin J. Abter in Idaho Falls, June 19, 1956. She has lived most of her life in Black Foot and Aberdeen. She is survived by her husband, three sons and four daughters - Rulon Gough, Mrs. Gilbert (Virgie) Robinson, Mrs. L (Laura) Scogings, and Bisil Gough, Blackfoot; Mrs. Frank (Ida) Tooley, Sacramento; Earl Gough, Pocatello; Three Stepchildren - Ladore L. Jones, Gooding; Lois Likis, Tooele, Utah; and Connie Moore, Everett, Wash.; 36 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday from the Blackfoot LDS Fifth Ward Church by Bishop Ellis Oram. Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the sandberg-hill Funeral Home.
