Samuel emigrated from England on the 180-ton ship "Katherine" which landed in Weymouth, Massachusetts, just south of Boston.

Samuel was a fascinating man. He married the Amias Cole Thompson (widow of his friend David) ca. 1634 in Massachusetts and had three children with her.
Samuel had been granted property in what is now Manhattan by England because of his help in getting the Dutch out of the area.
He possibly died at his home at what is now 50 Broadway, Manhattan.

There is much more information on Samuel on the internet.
