Married Beecher Medford. They were paretns of one child. After their divorce she married Gilbert Victor Carlson on Jujly 16, 1955 in Parker, Douglas Co., Colorado. After the death of Gilbert married Everett Heidemann on May 31, 2003 in Franktown, Douglas Co., Colorado.

Longtime Parker resident Rosa Lee Carlson Heidemann died Feb. 7 at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree. She was 76.
Her funeral was Feb. 11 in Franktown, and interment was at J.S. Parker Cemetery in Parker.
Born May 14, 1927, in Gadstonia, N.C., she was the daughter of William Homer and Martha I. (Moore) Minyard.
She and Gilbert Victor Carlson were married July 16, 1955, in Parker, and together they were dairy and wheat farmers. He preceded her in death June 7, 2000. The Carlson farm was designated a Centennial Farm by Colorado.
She and Everett Heidemann were married May 31, 2003, in Franktown.
"I grew up in the area and knew the Carlsons from childhood," Everett said. "I did some work for them before Gilbert died."
Mrs. Heidemann was a member of the Hilltop Social Club and over the years was active in several women's community groups.
Historic preservation was important to her, Everett said.
She actively worked to build the Quonset hut in Parker and was "devastated" when they took it down, Everett said.
"She was very active in her community," he said. "She worked hard all her life and was known as 'Grandma' or 'Mom' to all the neighbor kids."
Life on the ranch was hard work, Everett said. Mrs. Heidemann worked with her husband, moving livestock and caring for the farm.
That work didn't stop after she retired, he said.
A homemaker, Mrs. Heidemann was involved in the J.S. Parker Cemetery Association for many years and the Parker Senior Center, where she volunteered as a receptionist.
She was a member of Franktown Community Baptist Church, where she volunteered as a receptionist and a member of the Young at Heart Seniors.
Mrs. Heidemann was known for the exquisite ceramic dolls she made, her husband said.
Besides her first husband, Mrs. Heidemann was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Medford, sisters Mary Jo Fish and Mammie Minyard and brothers Bill and Frank Minyard.
She is survived by her husband of Parker; son Beecher "Eddie" Medford of San Antonio, Texas; and grandchildren Linda Medford and Thomas Gene Medford.
