Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Welsch, 43, who died at her home 130 West Fulliam avenue, early
this morning, will be conducted at the Richie and Orris Funeral Home at Columbus Junction. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. W. L. Hannon will be in charge, and burial will be in the Columbus City cemetery.

She had been ill about nine weeks. She was born on Jan. 5, 1900, in Columbus City; the
only daughter of Mary Elizabeth and Hiram Elton Pierce. She married Ralph Welsch on Sept. 30, 1928.

Surviving are the husband, three sons Billy Pence Welsch, Ralph Robert Welsch and Jackie LeRoy Welsch, one daughter Elizabeth Mae Welsch, and two children by a former marriage Paul Marion Barringer of the Navy, Mrs. Harold Tisor of Muscatine and one grandson Lowell Michael Tisor.
