William F. Morley Sr., 81, Riverside Drive, a retired general contractor, died Saturday morning at his home.
A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral with Monsignor Robert H. Aucoin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving are three sons, two daughters, 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a brother, a sister, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Three brothers, Emmett, Cyril and Gerald, and two sisters, Lucretia McCarney and Dorothy Morley , died previously.
He was born Dec. 6, 1911, in Ogdensburg, a son of Emmett and Florence Pelo Morley . He married Bernadette O. Brabant June 29, 1929, at Notre Dame Church with the Rev. P.S. Garand officiating.
Mr. Morley owned and operated Morley and Sons General Contracting in the Ogdensburg area from the early 1940s until his retirement in 1976. He and his wife were also proprietors of Morley 's Motel on Riverside Drive since the 1950s. They spent winters at Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Morley, a native of Ogdensburg, died Dec. 18, 1988. She was 77.
Mr. Morley was a communicant of St. Mary's Cathedral, a member of the Ogdensburg Elks Lodge and Local 81 of the Masons' Union, Ogdensburg.
