Martha Dye is a Cherokee born in Georgia and was a resident of the state of Oklahoma for about 56 of her 64 years of life. She is the daughter of J.T.Langley born GA and Mary B. Waters also born GA. Helping on the funeral was J. Wagnon.

DYE Mrs. Martha E. DYE was born June 6, 1882 to Mr. and Mrs. Z.T. LANGLEY at Ellijay, Georgia, and passed away March 23, 1947 at the age of 64 years, nine months and 17 days. She was converted and united with the Baptist Church in 1897. In 1900 she was married to Marshall Wagnor [Wagnon] and to this union was born one son, Julian Wagnor with whom she was making her home. Besides this son she is survived by one sister of the home address, two brothers, Marion LANGLEY of Susanville, Calif., Charley LANGLEY address unknown, three granddaughters and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conductred Wednesday, March 26 at the Roberts Funeral Chapel by Rev. James SMITH, pastor of the Westville Baptist Church. Burial was in the Westville Cemetery. The following songs were sung; "Take the Name of Jesus with You," "What a Friends we have in Jesus," and "Sweet Bye and Bye."
