Elizabeth Walton Eggleston , 87, of the 400 block of Chisholm Drive, a retired clerk, died Sept. 6, 1992, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Eggleston was born in Whaleyville. She had retired from F.S. Royster Fertilizer Co., Norfolk, after 35 years. She was the widow of Waldo B. Eggleston Sr. and was a Methodist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Peterson of Virginia Beach; a son, Waldo B. Eggleston Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. W. Hank Brooks. Friends may join the family at the residence. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
