Prague - Wilfred J. Wirka, 91, of Prague died Saturday, April 26, at his home. Wirka was born March 13, 1912, to Joseph and Carrie (Chvatal) Wirka on the family farm near Prague.
He graduated from Prague High School in 1931. On Feb. 21, 1939, he married Helen Kavan in Fremont. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 29, at Kucera Funeral Home in Prague with lay minister Jerry L. Kracl officiating. Burial was in the Prague National Cemetery with graveside honors by the Prague Volunteer Fire Department. Kucera Funeral Home of Prague was in charge of the arrangements.
