DEATH CALLED WAR VETERAN

Samuel S. Cooper, a well-known Civil War veteran, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daniel John, at Manorville, Thursday evening at 10:40 o'clock, of Bright's disease, in the seventy-sixth year of his age. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Deceased was a member of Co., D. 6th Reg. Penna. Heavy Artillery during the Civil War. Two daughters, Mrs. Annie Collie, of Allegheny, Mrs. John, of Manorville, two sons, W. H., of Alliance, Ohio, and Harry, of New York, and ten grandchildren survive.

The funeral services of the late Samuel Cooper will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daniel John, in Manorville, Sunday morning, at 9:00 o'clock. The interment will be at M'Ville.
