HEART ATTACK FATAL TO MRS. HESTER LIVENGOOD AT HOME OF SON
Hillsboro, Nov 7 --- Mrs. Hester Ann Livengood, 89, one of the oldest residents of this community, died at the home of her son, Albert Livengood, west of here at 3:30 o'clock Thursday morning.
Death was due to a heart attack she suffered during the night.
Mrs. LIvengood apparently had been in her usual good health in recent weeks and had cast her ballot at the polls Tuesday.
Born Feb. 20, 1851, near Wallace, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Bruner Grimes. She was married in 1873 to Pleasant Livengood, whose death occurred in May, 1927. Mrs. Livengood had spent her entire life in Fountain County. She was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church.
The survivors include two sons, Albert, at whose home she died, and Winfield, of Hillsvale, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Cora Walker, of Williamsport; a sister, Mrs. Mary Clawson, of Martinsville; a half-brother, Ed Grimes, of Florida, and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Waynetown Baptist church with burial in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
