Funeral services for Henry Burton Allison, 81, who died at Lewis Gale hospital, Roanoke, today, will be held at the home in Allisonia Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. C.A. Brabston, of Cleveland, TN, officiating. Burial will follow in the Allison cemetery. A prominent farmer of Allisonia, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Worrell Allison, and the following children, Elmer Allison, of Pulaski; Eugene Allison, of Carthage, IL; Thornton Allison, of Allisonia; Burton Allison, of Galax; Raby Allison, of Allisonia; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Brabston, of Cleveland, TN and Mrs. Mary Ruth Turman, of Allison. Two brothers, Fulton Allison, of Max Meadows, and Joe Allison, of Sylvatus, also survive. The body will remain at the Vaughan-Guynn funeral home until 10:30 o'clock tomorrow when it will be taken to the home.
