She was the daughter of Noah Dickinson Sr. and Hannah Skinner. She was nicknamed "Somers Beauty." She was best known as the mother of the famed Field brothers, David Jr., Matthew, Jonathan, Stephen, Cyrus and Henry. Her two daughters, Emilia and Mary Elizabeth married men, who also became noted in their own careers.
