Mrs. Delbert Butler
Mrs. Delbert Butler, 71, of Nora died in a Freeport hospital early today.
Mary Elizabeth Bechtold was born in Rush Township, Jo Daviess County, August 3, 1878. Her marriage to Delbert Butler took place Oct. 5, 1898. The husband died three years ago.
Survivors include a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Hazel Clay, Clayton and Elmer Butler, all of Nora. A granddaughter, Dorothy Franklin, whom she raised, and four other grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. One brother, William Bechtold, lives in Nora. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Services will be held at the Graham funeral home in Warren at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery at Warren.

Mary and Delbert raised my mother Dorothy Butler Franklin. My middle name Mary is after Mary Elizabeth and my granddaughter's middle name is Elizabeth after her also.
