WATTS, Okla. — Mary Alline Midgett, 69, of Watts died May 30, 2009, at her home. She was born Nov. 3, 1939, in Siloam Springs to Ray and Dovey Shaffer.
She was a cook for various restaurants and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Midgett; a son,Thomas Ramond Janes Jr.; a daughter, Eva Diane Janes; a grandson.
Survivors include two sons, Johnnie Janes and wife Mary of Decatur, and Jackie Janes and wife Tawny of Gravette; three daughters, Debbie Voyles and husband Danny of Decatur, Theresa Allison and husband Roger of Stilwell, Okla., and Kimberly Davis and husband Jimmy of Siloam Springs; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pauline Jenks of Colcord, Okla., Carol Finn of Siloam Springs and Linda Gillett of Watts; two brothers, Buddy Shaffer of Decatur and Jerry Shaffer of Siloam Springs.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Decatur Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Kirk Anderson officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
