Vivian was born on August 26, 1917, the daughter of Jessie Skelton and Bertha (Nichols) Skelton. She married Edwin Earl Earp on October 1, 1938, in Olney. Edwin preceded Vivian in death.
She was a charter member of Olney Eagles Lodge, Olney American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as the Moose Club of Olney. She worked as a nurse's aide at Richland Memorial Hospital. She also worked at JJ's Market, Schneider Brother's Grocery and International Shoe Factory. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Vivian is survived by her son, Stephen Earp; daughter, Carol Earlene Fore; brother, Richard Skelton; sisters, Marcia Jessup and Barbara Lewis; nephew, Joe Skelton; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Earp; parents, Jessie and Bertha Earp; two infant boys, Larry Gene and Larry Keith Earp; brothers, Vern, Bob, Warren, Jack, Kenneth and Donald Skelton; two sisters; and one granddaughter, Angel Greenwood.
Services were held at the Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Greg Hall officiating.
Burial was in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in Claremont.
