Rex H. Little was born Nov. 21, 1898, at Mercer Co., Missouri He married Vera Cabb at Corydon, Ia. To this union 2 children were born, Ralph Little of St. Louis, Mo. and Wanda(Little) Jepsen Schramm of Ida Grove, Iowa. He died Feb. 2, 1985, at the Care Center of the Soldiers Home, Fort Dodge, Ks.He was a janitor at the Ida Grove Dewey Building for several years. He served in the military for a year in North Africa.He married Blanche Hanks at Emmetsburg. They made their home in Moorhead, where he was a janitor at the school. In 1960 he retired and moved to Kinsley, Ks. He lived in a cottage at the Soldier's Home in Fort Dodge, Ks. and later at the Care Center of the Home.Survivors include a son, Ralph Little of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Wanda Schramm of Ida Grove; 3 stepsons: Robert Hanks of Oregon, Paul Hanks of Missouri. and Rev. Duane Hanks of Stanton, Ne; a sister, Mrs. Delos Thayer of Odebolt; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
