Mrs Christine Kohte, aged 61, died at the home, 1153 Francis street, at 2:30 o'clock this morning of complications. She had an attack of the influenza three years ago and had been in poor health since that time. She was born in this city and had lived here continuously. She was a member of the St Paul's Lutheran church.
Surviving are the husband, Ernest; three daughters, Mrs Fred Schwier, Mrs William Breuer, Jr and Miss Doretta Kohte; one son, Moritz Kohte; three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs Katharine Stegemeier. Fort Wayne Sentinel - April 1, 1922
