Urvel Almeda Cook, 82, died November 4 at Bridgeport Hospital. Funeral was Saturday, November 5 at First Baptist Church in Paradise. David Buckler officiated. Burial was at Laurel Land in Fort Worth.

Mrs. Cook was born in Alvord on May 30, 1906 and married Marvin Chapel Cook, in Lone Star on December 6, 1925. She was a housewife and a resident of Paradise where she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers were Marty Bush, Ray Cook Jr., Jimmy Wilson, Kevin Cook; Mark Wilson and Sam Cook Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Cook Jr., Larry Cook, Trace Cook, Bryan Cook and Kyle Cook.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Marvin Cook; one son Bobby Cook; three sisters: Pearl Cox and Lela McNeilly of Dallas, and Betty Hale of Boyd; and two brothers: Barney Adams of Mabank and Charles Adams of Boyd.

Mrs. Cook is survived by four daughters: Betty Bush and Lois Nevoit, both of Boyd, and Nedra Rhody and Juanita Falcon of Fort Worth; three sons: Ray Cook, Sam Cook and Billy Cook, all of Paradise; 23 grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
