Williamsport, Penn. - A. Ann Falk, 91, died at Sycamore Manor in Williamsport, Penn., on Sept 27.

She was a former resident of Chatham, and lived at Sycamore Manor since October 2003. Born on May 20, 1913 in New York City, she was the daughter of Thomas and Rose Capone of Astoria, N. Y. She was one of seven children. She was married to Frank K. Falk for 65 years; he predeceased her in 1996.

She graduated from Washington Irving High School in Manhattan were she was an outstanding student in art. Throughout her life she continued to cultivate her interest in art through drawing, painting, ceramics and sculpture. In the 1950's she owned and operated The Little Co-ed Nursery School in Astoria. She was a member of Advance Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Astoria where she became Matron while her husband, an active Mason, served as Patron.

While residing in Astoria and Bayside, N.Y., she travelled frequently to Cape Cod, an area she loved. In 1971, upon her husband's retirement from Con Edison in New York, they moved to Chatham. While there, she pursued her hobbies of collecting books, china and antiques. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed passing down the family recipes.

She is survived by her son, Robert F. Falk, and his wife, Amy Cartal-Falk, both of Montoursville, Penn.; her daughter, Lynne Ann Falk, Newton, N.J.; and her sister, Charlotte Smith, Flourtown, Penn. She had seven grandchildren: Dianne Irion, Montoursville, Penn.; Drew Falk, Salisbury, Md; Deborah Rogers, Doylestown, Penn.; David Falk and Caitlin Falk, both of New York, N.Y.; Kenneth Kremer, Montoursville, Penn.; and Ann-Marie Puccio of Marlton, N.J., eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Williamsport, Penn. on Oct. 30, at 11 a.m.
