Hubert "Jack" Cox of Bedford, IN, died Friday, January 18, 2002, at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born on April 5, 1919, in Trinity Springs, IN, he was the son of Thurman and Grace (Stines) Cox. He married Nina Huff on April 15, 1967, and she survives.

Surviving with his wife are four daughters: Georgia Hoult of Lakeland, FL, Patricia Reynolds of Bedford, IN, Sandra Cranfield of Mitchell, IN, and Cathy Towle of Bloomington, IN; two sons, Don Cox of Owensburg, IN, and Michael Huff of Bedford, IN; eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lorna Dalton, and one brother, Winfred Cox.

He was employed at Robertson's Feed Mill in Bedford for forty-four years and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church and the American Legion Gillen Post #33.

Services for Hubert Cox will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22nd, at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery with graveside military rites accorded by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33.
