Services were held at 10:30 Wednesday in the Williams Memorial Chapel. Burial was at 1:30 PM in the Springtown Cemetery.
Frances was born Sept 15, 1916 in Sweetwater. She was a longtime resident of Springtown and former resident of Poolville.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Elaine Flynn; her parents; two brothers; two sisters; and her husband of 42 years, John B. Young, former superintendent of schools at Bryson, Poolville, and Trent.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary E. Rhodes and husband John of Garland and Judy C. Flynn and husband Jack of Houston; grandchildren, Jana and Jeremy Flynn of Houston, Emily Rhodes of Garland and Wendy Quenzer and husband Mike of Dallas; two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
