Raymond S. Alexander, 62, of 509 E Jackson, Bloomington, IL, a utility man for Corn Belt Electric for 21 years, died at his home at 5:55 pm Thursday, September 28, 1967. He had been ill five months.

His funeral was held on Saturday at Free Methodist Church. Visitation was held at Beck Memorial Home from 2 -5 and 7-9 pm Friday.

He was born in Salem, Neb., Aug. 12, 1905 a son of Ernest and Oleva Shineflew Alexander. He married Ethel Anderson, Aug. 22, 1941, at St. Louis, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; his father, Scottsbluff, Neb.; a son, James Alexander, Lexington, Ill; two brothers, Worthey and Ernest, Scottsbluff, Neb.; two sister, Mrs. Vera Scuderi, Artesia, N.M.; Mrs. Ruby Hawthorne, Campbell, Calif.; two grandchildren.

The family has suggested that any expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Free Methodist Church.
