Major League Baseball Player. He played for five teams in thirteen seasons in the majors. Scott was a shortstop for the Boston Red Sox (1914 to 1921), New York Yankees (1922 to 1925), Washington Senators (1925), Chicago White Sox (1926), and Cincinnati Reds (1926). He had a career batting average of .249 with 551 runs batted in. His 1,307 streak of consecutive games played was a record later broken by Lou Gehrig.
