MICHIGAN CITY - Frances I. Marks, 91, Michigan City, died Friday (May 29, 2009) at The Arbors of Michigan City.
Family services will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home. There is no visitation. Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Marks was born in Michigan City on Aug. 18, 1917, to Ernest A. and Anna T. Anderson Wabshall.
She married Russell "Bud" Marks on June 26, 1937, and he died July 12, 1983. A daughter, Karen D. Marks, died Feb. 11, 1981.
She is survived by a brother, John R. Wabshall, Michigan City. A brother, Ernest Wabshall Jr., is deceased.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Michigan City since 1931, a lfe member of Vivians, the St. John's Evening Guild, Michigan City Senior Center and Birthday Club with Special Friends.
