Funeral services for the late J. F. Eggleston, who died Saturday at his home here, were conducted from the First Baptist church Sunday afternoon by Elder Wilson of Danville and Elder D. P. Helms of Bassett. Interment was made in the Bassett cemetery. The active pall bearers were John Hawkins, Sam Johnson, Charlie Eggleston, Joe Minter and Russell Johnson.
