Alzina AARON was born Sept. 8, 1891 in Wichita, Kansas and departed this life Oct. 27, 1950 at the Beaver Hospital at the age of 59 yrs., 1 mo. and 17 days.
She moved to Beaver County, Oklahoma with her parents when she was about 12 yrs. of age, her parents settled on a homestead 5 miles west of Forgan, and she resided there with her parents until she was married to Fred HITCHCOCK Dec. 8, 1917. Since her marriage her home has been in Forgan. Mr. HITCHCOCK departed this life July 26, 1945.
She united with the Methodist Church some time ago and she has been faithful to her Christ and to her Church and all who knew her loved her. She also belonged to Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekah lodge.
She leaves to mourn her loss her brother, R. J. AARON, and wife, and daughter, Deanna, a nephew Pfc. Johnny AARON of Oceanside, Calif., Mrs. Lola B. COOLEY and husband, A. D. COOLEY of Forgan, Okla., Mr. and Mrs. Bert SMITH and daughter Susan.
Mrs. SMITH a niece of Compton, Calif., and Mrs. Peggy Aaron PEDDLAR a niece of Seattle, Wash., and a nephew William Lee AARON of Compton, Calif., made their home with her for a time and are the children of a deceased brother. She also leaves other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were at the Forgan Methodist Church Monday at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. O. W. YORK the pastor. Interment was in the Forgan Cemetery.
The choir furnished music with Mrs. Ed POTTER at the piano, pall bearers were, Harry VERHELST, John KERNS, Charley McNABB, Bennie KILE, Grant HARRYMAN, and Jean SPOHN.
