Leslie Helms, 74, retired cattleman
Leslie Earl Helms, 74 of Douglasville, died Saturday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Tatham, N. M. Burial will be at Tatham City Cemetery.
Mr. Helmes(Helms) was a cattle rancher and a foreman at Boone Ranch in Elida, N.M. for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mahala Sanders Helms of Douglasville; two daughters. Shirley Collier of Marietta and Mary Lou Cox of Tacoma, Wash.: two step-sons, Pete Davis of Clovis, N.M., and Larry Buras of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, J.P. Helms of Mount Air, N.M. and Joe Helms of Athens. Ala.: 16 grandchildren. 11 great-grand¬children.
Gene Davis-White Columns Chapel in Lithia Springs is in charge of arrangements.
