LOSES SECOND SON IN THE WAR
The bitterness of war was brought the second time to Forest B. Grimes of Melrose, on Tuesday when he received official communication from the War Department that his son, Dale, 29, had been missing in action since Dec. 1st.
Dale, a navigator with the crew of a Flying Fortress is a brother of Ray Grimes, Monroe County's first war casualty, who was killed in a routine training flight in California in September.
Dale was reported missing somewhere in the South Pacific. Two other brothers are serving with the armed forces, Clifford, with the Army Air Force and George, a pilot with the Canadian Air Force.
