According to his death certificate, Jesus Acuña was married to Josepha Acuña and lived in Naco. He died at age 75 at the Tucson Medical Center of cancer of the neck (birth date not known exactly by informant C.A. Acuna of Mammoth. Death was related to "metastatic carcinoma of neck & cervical vertebrae, primary site unknown." He had had an operation on 29 April 1955; biopsy of cervical lymph node showed carcinoma. Burial was planned for 5/12/1955 in Naco.
