A graveside service for Ruth V. Stanford, 94, of 218 Stone St., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Black River Cemetery.
Ms. Stanford died July 15 at Mercy of Northern New York, Watertown.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Bruce Funeral Home.
She was a waitress at Pine Lodge, Black River, had worked at the Hotel Woodruff, Watertown, in the housekeeping unit and was a housekeeper at Henry Keep Home, Watertown. She then was a home health aide in Watertown until her retirement.
Born March 21, 1908, in Black River, daughter of Joseph and May Green Stanford, she attended school in Black River and then moved to Watertown.
When a marriage to Carmen Denicola ended in divorce she resumed using her maiden name.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Carmen D. and Joyce M. Denicola and David Luke Denicola, all of Trumbull, Conn.; a brother, Eldon Stanford, Watertown, a granddaughter and a great- granddaughter.
