FLAT ROCK - Blanche M. Chenier, 86, Flat Rock, passed away Sunday May 24, 2009, at Bishop Noa Home. She was born on Dec. 11, 1922, to the late Calixte and Clara (Charboneau) Charlebois in Flat Rock. On Dec. 27, 1939, she married the late Gerald Chenier at St. Anne's Parish in Escanaba.
Blanche is survived by seven children: Beverly MacGillis of Gladstone, Gloria (Patrick) Julien of Gladstone, Judy Chenier of Gladstone, Duaine (Virginia) Chenier of Rapid River, Dennis (Brenda) Chenier of Dayton, Ohio, David (Joanne) Chenier of Flat Rock and Rodney Chenier of Escanaba; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Brien Julien in 1983 and a brother, William Charlebois.
