He married Isella Iona Cowley, daughter of William Elroy & Annie Mae Larsen Cowley, on January 15, 1919 in Price, Utah. Their children were: Bernell, Joan, Norma Jean, Robert Devore, Orval LaMar, Clinton, Boyden J., Donna Rae & Darrold Ostler.
Charles died March 23, 1972 in American Fork, Utah.
