Martha Louise Weaver Dalton, age 76, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday evening Jan. 11, 2011. Born Aug. 26, 1934 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Weaver and Bessie Andrews Weaver. Her husband, James Cecil "JC" Dalton, sons, Hank Williams Dalton and Terry James Dalton, sister, Betty Joyce Quesenberry, and sister-in-law, Virginia Weaver, also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Memorial Christian Church. Mrs. Dalton was retired from Wades Supermarket in Dublin with over 18 years of service. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Duane Carico and grandson, Seth Dalton Carico, of Fort Chiswell; grandson, William Travis Viars and wife, Katie, of Wytheville; granddaughter, Randi McKinnon and husband, Robert, of Fort Chiswell; three great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Tryson and Cohen; brother, Jerry Weaver of Alaska; sisters, Elizabeth Fiore and husband, A.V., of North Carolina, and Shirley Shelton and husband, J.B., of Christiansburg; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Louise Bentley of Hopewell, Nancy and Frank Safewright of Maryland, and Jerry and JoAnn Dalton of Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Interment will follow at Newbern Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. The family will be meeting at the home of her daughter at 319 Apache Run, Fort Chiswell.
