Funeral services for David Henry Smith, 75, of Newbern, who passed away at his home at 11:30 o'clock Saturday morning after an extended illness of complications will be held from the home at 2 o'clock today with the Rev. O.C. Wright, pastor of the Dublin Methodist church in charge. Burial will be in Newbern cemetery. Mr. Smith has been a resident of Newbern for many years and prior to his illness was occupied as a farmer. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J.T. Roseberry of Newbern.
