Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Assembly of God Church, Plainfield. The Rev. Waldemar Zastrow will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Bancroft.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Gasperic Funeral Home, Plainfield.
Mrs Nigh was born Jan. 20, 1920, in Germany, daughter of the late Henry Hartmann and Louise H Ennenga. Her mother lives in Citrus Heights, Calif. She came to the United States with her family at age four. They lived in Minnesota, then California. She was married to George Nigh in December 1945 in California. The couple were divorced July 1969.
Mrs. Nigh lived in the town of Pine Grove 24 years and in Hancock for the last 16 years. She was a cook at Plainfield Truck Stop and Gary's Restaurant, Bancroft.
Survivors besides her mother include six sons, Harlan and Irvin, both of the town of Pine Grove; Orin, town of Laoia; Hugh, Bancroft; Harvey, Plainfield; and Elwyn, Sacramento, Calif.; one daughter, Charlene (Raymond) Applebee, Pine Grove; ....... She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather and one brother."
