Survivors include his wife, Marydee Meyer; a son, Bart Jacobs of New Albany; a daughter, Missy A. Jacobs of New Albany; two stepsons, John West of Corydon and Donald West of Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Lara West of Cary, N.C.; a sister, Judy Fleace of Mauckport; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Friday night, Oct. 6, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial was private.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Habitat for Humanity.
