She was a registered nurse, working in various hospitals and retiring in 1979 from the Lorain Health Department as a visiting nurse. She worked as a part-time school nurse after retiring.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Lorain, Slovenian Club and Italian-American Veterans. She enjoyed theater,
traveling, camping, music, dancing and reading.
