Miss Amelia Baumgardner, 82, of Kimbolton, died at 7 a.m. Monday morning.
She was born Aug. 26, 1872, a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Gibson Baumgardner, at Kimbolton.
She leaves one sister, Mrs. Clara Ross of Kimbolton, and a brother, Ira A. Baumgardner, Clark St. A sister and two brothers are deceased.
She was a life-long member of the Kimbolton Methodist Church where she served as organist for 50 years. She served as postmistress in Kimbolton for 11 years and was employed there for 26 years.
The body is at Bundy Funeral Home where friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday morning it will be taken to the residence in Kimbolton where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Harvey McPheron and Rev. Raymond Lyons. Burial will be in Kimbolton Cemetery.
