1848 Susan Elizabeth (Leinbach)***see below

Note***
15 Jun 1863 Harrison is arrested and charged with stealing mail from the post office.

By 1860, Elizabeth is raising her children alone. No record of John appears.

It is documented that Amos died, in 1862, of wounds received in a Civil War battle. Because brothers Harrison and Allen do not appear anywhere after 1860, I can only assume that they too met a similar fate.

Daughter Susan married in 1876 and was the mother of a daughter and then a son.
