The marriage was bitterly opposed by the parents on both sides and the young
lovers were compelled to leave their homes.
They reared 7 children in Iowa, Missouri and finally located in Selma,
California. P M Corbly passed away just 12 days after losing Narcissa, his wife
of 62 years.
